            "An accomplished fashion designer in her own right, K.D.'s mother drew inspiration from foreign " + 
            "magazines and fabrics sent from New York and London by family members living abroad. As a regular " + 
            "pastime K.D. would recreate, in miniature for her dolls, the outfits created by her mother." +

            "When mother and daughter moved to New York City in the 80's the city's vibrant fashion scene served " + 
            "to further nurture their love of fashion design. Seeking to fine-tune her craft, K.D.'s mother " + 
            "attended the Fashion Institute of Technology.  K.D. was often encouraged to tag along when her " + 
            "mother attended fashion related activities and events." +

            "Not surprisingly, K.D. became further impassioned toward pursuit of a career in the fashion " + 
            "industry. Her natural inclination to create interesting synergies through unusual usages of fabrics, " + 
            "patterns, proportions and styling resulted in uniquely empowered looks for herself and others. " + 
            "This ability led to several opportunities for K.D. to work as a fashion stylist for Manhattan " + 
            "based photographers and designers. She also gained invaluable experience working as a bridal " + 
            "specialist and, in time, decided to attend her mother's Alma Mater to study both the history and " + 
            "science behind the crafts she'd grown to love." +

            "While K.D. credits her mother for helping her develop her strong and unique sense of style; one " + 
            "based on her love of traveling, her island/urban culture and her passion for all things sunny, " +

            "children there, Kathy came home to South Carolina to help run her mother's dress shop." +

            "With over 20 years of retail experience she became interested in the wholesale side of the fashion " + 
            "industry.  Her retail experience allows her to better connect with other retailers while building " + 
            "trust and understanding of what they face on a day-to-day basis. After representing multiple " + 
            "apparel lines she decided to combine her love of Brazil with her love of fashion and began " + 
            "importing her own line of jeans from Brazil." +

            "Soon after, her daughter Emilie Whitaker joined her in the family business. Emilie had fashion in " + 
            "her genes, literally! Her grandmother (Kathy's mother) bought Amy Pride, one of the oldest " + 
            "boutiques in Greenville, in 1979, the year Emilie was born. As early as age 10, Emilie began " + 
            "attending fashion apparel markets.  The now 29-year-old took a brief leave from the fashion " + 
            "industry, launching her professional career in Washington, DC working for a large research firm " + 
            "in their political marketing division.  When the timing seemed right, Emilie took her brilliant " + 
            "marketing skills back to Greenville and together Kathy and Emilie developed the brand Beija-Flor, " + 
            "inspired by Emilie's childhood memories of the beautiful hummingbird museum in her father's home state." +

            "Since 2005, the design duo have been bringing Brazilian jeans to women across the US who have " +

            "Campbell honed her eye for fashion by combing boutiques with her girlfriends, noting which styles " +

            "Edwards attended the Savannah College of Art & Design, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in " + 
            "Fashion and a Minor in Painting. While she is skilled at sewing, sculpture, painting, and " + 
            "sketching, Edwards chose to pursue fashion as a career because the mix of creative and " + 
            "technical skills challenges and invigorates her." +

            "While in pursuing her degree Beth worked as a seamstress in a local bridal boutique. It was here " +
