New York, NY, Jan 24, 2006 - A group of young designers and professionals, all veterans of the New York fashion industry, are banding together to create a groundbreaking effort - a fashion collective. SEAM COLLECTIVE TM will debut their fall lines at Diverse City, their first runway show at Soho Dance Studios on Saturday, March 4th at 9pm, with a special pre-showing for press at 6:30.

SEAM COLLECTIVETM is an alliance of entrepreneurial women formed in February, 2005 by three friends, Elizabeth Rynish, Minyoung Shin and K.D. Issacs. Their goals are to create fashions for a distinct consumer: those seeking to define their individuality with uncommonly chic style, and offer innovative options for today's boutique shopper.

SEAM is built on the principle that many heads are better than one. It is a support system designed to allow the growth and development of young, fresh talent while still maintaining the personal expression of each individual member. "We are stronger together than we are as one person, we have to come together and support each other to make this really work," said Ms. Isaacs. Ms. Shin adds "One designer can't dress every woman, and no woman can be dressed by only one designer." To achieve a more complete and supportive method than the traditional ways used by young designers to break into the industry, each designer focuses on her core talent to create a whole. Rynish focuses on bold original prints and daywear, Isaacs on sensual resort wear and Shin on elegant eveningwear. "Why wait for a revolution when you can start one on your own?" asks Rynish. "We're here to make something happen!"

Following the debut of their diverse collections, there will be a dance party for everyone invited. When asked about the party, Elizabeth explains, "We have to have a party, we have to celebrate what's happening here! It's a very special experience to have all of these women so dedicated to the achievements of each other!"
